The situation:
In 2012, I was living in New York City studying at the School of Visual Arts. When I wasn’t studying or being intoxicated, I was constantly looking for opportunities to play sports. But as an asian kid being in a new city and going to an art school it was difficult to find opportunities where you can take part in sports.

The solution:
To solve this personal problem that many were able to relate to, I used school time to create a platform to connect people through sports. Nike Pick Up is a network in which people in your town can connect through sports. You can either create or join a game. As the creator of the game, you set specific rules and standards to keep the game competitive. As the person joining, you follow the same steps and show up at the location of the set game. Thanks to this platform in which everyone can connect with others through sports, you will never have a problem of starting a competitive game with others.
